Liquidity Portfolio Manager

A private holding company seeks a Liquidity Portfolio Manager. 

Responsibilities

In the Liquidity Portfolio Manager role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Development of criteria for liquidity portfolio, including metrics and procedures 
  • Management of portfolio through combination of direct and outsourced alternatives
  • Establishment of framework, trading relationships, risk systems and P&L reporting
  • Recurring reporting on cash and cash equivalent balances and yields
  • Forecasting and related reporting of cash availability matched to forecasted cash needs

 

Requirements

Candidates for the Liquidity Portfolio Manager opportunity should meet the following requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience managing short-term liquidity
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Track record in the prudent navigation of financial crisis
  • Strong business relationships at banks, brokers and asset managers
  • Treasury system implementation experience
  • Ability to leverage resources for credit research and market information
  • Experience working in a small team
  • Excellent supervisory skills
